WINDCLAN CAMP
Honeypelt twirled and paced about the clearing he knew as camp. Having missed the dawn patrol, the energetic tom waited for the other members of WindClan to awake. He should be asleep, after being on guard all night. But Honeypelt didn't need much sleep! ((WHY didn't windclan haVe a camp thread THIS IS AN OUTRAGE))

((> w <))
Dustfoot stirred in his nest. It felt early, but something told him that it was probably time to be awake anyway. He lifted his head with a yawn before sitting up in his nest and giving himself a quick wash. He paused for a moment, trying to fully wake up before standing up and making his way into the camp. Too late, he realized that he should have been more careful about where he was stepping because it was likely many of his denmates were still sleeping. Luckily, he didn't stomp on any tails on his way out. He spotted Honeypelt and tilted his head slightly. Hadn't the ginger tom been on guard duty when everyone had been turning in to their nests? What was he doing with so much energy still? Dustfoot walked over to Honeypelt and dipped his head in greeting. "Good morning," he meowed, his voice still raspy from sleep. "You seem pretty energetic today."

Honeypelt purred, bumping his head against the lean toms shoulder, before bouncing back again. Honeypelt was like this to ost cats, as if he as their littermate, not a clanmate. That cat needed some boundaries.
"Oh, you know me! Never did need much sleep! I slept for an entire night in the past quarter moon! Can't get into that habit, hmm? My mom would really get mad." Tilting his head for a moment, the golden tom seemed lost in thought. "Ever realized that habit sounds like rabbit? Do rabbits have habbits? Do rabbits think!?" He seemed to grow increasingly stressed as he considered the philosophy of the hare.

Dustfoot was amused by Honeypelt's actions and smiled as the other tom bumped his head against his shoulder. His smile faded some when his Clanmate mentioned that he could't sleep for fear of disappointing his mother. Mild alarm crossed his face when he started getting stressed about rabbits of all things. "Whoa, there, Honeypelt," Dustfoot meowed, trying to sound soothing. "Rabbits don't think. If they did, they'd do more than tunnel around and eat grass all day, right?"

Honeypelt seemed slightly reassured by Dustfoot's explanation, nodding slightly. Shifting uncomfortably, he tried stretching some stiffness from his bones. "Yellowstorm was on patrol all morning. We can head for a walk to warm up. Bit stiff, you know? Back to the point, let's hunt together! My mom will love waking up to food on the pile."
The chatty tom seemed to have shaken his previous grievances about rabbits, more worried about his mother. The golden tom hated to admit it, but his mother was a big push behind most of his reasons for patrolling and hunting more then he had too. Not that anybody was complaining.

"Yeah, hunting sounds good," Dustfoot mewed with a lazy smile. He was sure the Clan wouldn't mind a rabbit or two on the pile, but he wasn't quite sure Honeypelt was in it for the right reasons. Surely there should be more to his life than pleasing his mother? The tabby tom shrugged and decided that it wasn't really any of his business. "I mean.. as long as you're sure you don't want to get some rest."
