History: Adderpaw and his sister were brought up as normal kits, with no particular tragedy framing their lives. Theyplayed games together, they explored together, and they did most everything normal kits do together. They both looked forward to training together - until the day that Adderkit received a dream.
In it, Adderkit saw a snakeskin - patterned much like his fur - wrapped around some flowers and berries. When he woke, he wondered what it might mean. He told Tigerkit, but she thought he was silly. When he told his mother, though, she went to find the ShadowClan medicine cat.
It was decided then that Adderkit would be ShadowClan's next apprentice, and when the day came Adderpaw accepted the post. He noticed that Tigerpaw was disappointed in him; but it would take a while before he could explain to her his destiny. Training was hard and learning all the herbs got in the way, until finally he was able to express how sorry he was to her and that he wouldn't change his mind.
Tigerpaw reluctantly accepted that things were different, and offered to go with him whenever he went picking herbs and wanted the company. Adderpaw was glad to have her on his side again.
When Tigerpaw became Tigertail, Adderpaw was the first to congratulate her, knowing she would be the first to congratulate him when his training was complete.
His mentor is impressed with his ability with herbs and berries, but Adderpaw needs to work on the ability to discern which signs are really signs.
